FOOD FIESTA!

I love the last Friday on every month. Reason is, the company I'm currently working with, celebrates monthly staff's birthdays. Therefore, the company will order wide spread of buffet for our lunch. Yup, I'm talking about a huge amount of foods!!! The food they ordered were all scrumptious! Today is the last Friday of the month, January. Today's menu was Otah-Otah, Chicken Fillet, Fish Fillet, Butter Prawns, Mee Siam, Fried Rice, Kuih-Muih and Mix Juice. I'm bloated! Now I'm totally sleepy plus it's raining cats and dogs. Nice to snuggle under the blanket with my husband. Wonder what's for dinner....

1ST WEDDING MONTHSARY

Alhamdulillah. Praises to Allah.

It's our 1st wedding monthsary. I still can't believe that we've tied the knot, 1 month ago. It feels like we're still a normal couple who just fell in love yesterday. Alhamdulillah, we're still standing strong together. Insyallah, our relationship will last now and thereafter. Amin.

I love my husband and he's my top priority. Period.

FIANCEE WIFE MUMMY

First of all, the title has got nothing to do with me being pregnant. Well my husband and I are hoping for a healthy daughter. But not for now..

Anyway, for dinner today, my ex-colleague, Nani, invited me and Norrah (a colleague) to her house. It was a small get together for us. We miss Nani so much. She was a senior and we're comfortable getting to know her. But sadly, she decided to resign out of the blue moon due to personal reasons which to date, I do not know why. I don't want to interfere into someone's privacy.

The wide spread of foods was scrumptious! Lucky for my dear husband, I brought him along so he gets the chance to eat those delicious foods. Unlike me, I don't know how to cook, yet. Actually I know how to cook. I cooked, Fried Rice, White Bee Hoon, fry egg, fry nuggets, chickens, hot dogs, etc etc. HAHAHA! That's not even a proper meal. I will slowly learn how to cook. Sooner or later, I can be a good cook for my husband. Should learn more from my mother. Mom's dishes is the best.

Nani's daughter, Hani, is so adorable! My goodness, I can't stop pinching those chubby cheeks!! I wonder, how will my kids look like? I want my kids to look more like their father and have their father's personality; hardworking, loving, caring, polite, brave etc etc. When will we have our first child? Hmmmmm....

So, my post title literally referred to myself, Norrah & Nani. Norrah is a Fiancee to her fiance. I'm a wife to my husband and Nani is a mother to her childrens. Get it? Anyway, I wanna thank Nani for the dinner. I wish her the best with her new job. Hope we'll still be in touch.....

I've compiled selected wedding pictures into a video montage. Once again, a million thanks to the photographer, Rizal for capturing our lovely moments. Appreciate it very much! The only thing left is, the Wedding Video. Can't wait for that. To be honest, I don't really look good on some of the pictures. My eyes were barely even open. Cos you know, I have sepet eyes. That explains... I hate wearing fake lashes. One of the reasons why I can't open my eyes widely. What matters the most is, it was a great wedding. And I love my husband. Period.

A DATE TO REMEMBER

It's our 16th month together as a couple NOT as a husband and wife. We went through lots of obstacles together. One of it was being apart for 50 days. It was extremely hard for us. Singapore and Philippines is not near. It was a challenge for us. We will always remember 15th September 2009 throughout our lifetime. It's a date to commemorate the start of our love journey.

MABUHAY CLUB!

On behalf of Miko, we would like to express our gratitude to Darul Arqam Mabuhay Club for the gathering session and for the prayers to us. It was unexpected, really! We felt like the most VIP yesterday. We were touched by the effort the committee had done for us. The wide spread of Filipino dishes was SARAP! I believe my husband enjoyed himself because I can tell that he missed his hometown so freaking bad. We couldn't ask for more. The prayers is more than enough. I pray to Allah to bless them. Till the next gathering.... =)

ARE BIRDS FALLING FROM THE SKY EXAMPLES OF PAREIDOLIA,ESCHATOLOGY OR SOMETHING ELSE?

The first story of 2011 to grab the attention of just about everybody is shocking and mysterious. A mysterious rain of thousands of dead birds darkened New Year's Eve in Arkansas, and this similar reports streamed in from Louisiana, Sweden, and elsewhere.

What does this tells you? Well in my opinion, I choose to believe it's omens of an apocalypse. However, I'm no God to predict about our future. They say 21.12.12 is the Judgement Day, which falls on a Friday. I remember very well, my religious teacher ever told me that Judgement Day will definitely fall on a Friday. And again, I can't say such predictions right? Freaking scary, I know.

So right now my advice is to REPENT.

HOW TO BE LESS SENSITIVE?

I know, dumb title. If we’re sensitive, we’re sensitive. And it’s not a bad thing, to be sensitive, it’s what makes us compassionate toward others. But, as a sensitive person, I know that it can get in the way sometimes – when I’m over-sensitive it can sour my day, cause problems in my relationships, or make me overreact to trivial stuff.

My principle; Please mind my feelings and I will mind yours.
Fair enough?

On the bright side, it's been 1 month I'm working in my current company. Alhamdulillah!

2011

A new year. A new life. Now, I'm married to Fazriq. A wife to him. He is now my top priority! I love this guy from the bottom of my heart and I am not going to walk away from something that is so amazing in every other aspect, even when we argue … because I know that bottom line I want to be with him! I’ve never felt like this about anybody before.

Yet through 2 years of being with Fazriq and through all of the arguments and emotional conflict … I’ve never wanted anything more! Even when we argue really badly, I guess in my heart of hearts I know somehow we will always sort it out because the LOVE means more than anything!

We celebrated 2011 at Johor, Malaysia. It's just a simple 'Makan Angin' trip. But it was a blast day out with my husband. Even though I was utterly annoyed with the exceedingly long queue at M'sia Custom. It all vanished away afterwards. A Great day, with great food & great husband! Complete bliss. ♥ ♥ ♥


As soon as I reached home, there's a surprise gift from Mamat bestie on my bed. It's his way of making up to me for not being able to come to my Wedding. He gave a bride & groom teddy bears. How adorable. I love it! Thanks Mamat dear. I forgive you, no hard feelings. We will always be bestfriends even if I'm already married.


My new year resolution is to be a responsible wife & to be thrifty. Errmmm, and to lose weight?
